Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BLOC1S1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BLOC1S1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher BLOC1S1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BLOC1S1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and LSCC show a favorable association.

UCEC, PDAC, and LSCC are the cancer types where BLOC1S1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
