Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BLMH mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BLMH data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher BLMH mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BLMH expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and LSCC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, GBM, and PDAC are the cancer types where BLMH mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
