Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BLM Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BLM data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher BLM Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BLM expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
UCEC, SCLC, and STAD are the cancer types where BLM Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
