Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BLID Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BLID data layer compared with 15 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher BLID Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BLID expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ESCA, ACC, and COAD are the cancer types where BLID Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
