Across TCGA patient cohorts, BIRC5 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 8 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BIRC5-associated genes across cancer lineages are JNK2, Myosin-IIa, and Tuberin. Each is linked with BIRC5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BIRC5-to-partner and partner-to-BIRC5 results are reported.
