Across TCGA patient cohorts, BIRC2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 18,901 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BIRC2-associated genes across cancer lineages are ME3, PHPT1, and C2CD2L. Each is linked with BIRC2 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BIRC2-to-partner and partner-to-BIRC2 results are reported.
