Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BIN1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BIN1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher BIN1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BIN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, BRCA, and READ are the cancer types where BIN1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
