Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BIN1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BIN1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 11 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher BIN1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BIN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and COAD show a favorable association.

LSCC, CCRCC, and COAD are the cancer types where BIN1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
