BHMT

protein abundance — cross-omics
Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, BHMT protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,923 significant associations in total. CCRCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BHMT-associated genes across cancer lineages are NCAPD2, SLC7A6, and TIMELESS. Each is linked with BHMT in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BHMT-to-partner and partner-to-BHMT results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, BHMT versus NCAPD2 in GBM, with a Pearson correlation of -0.47.

protein abundance associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (BHMT→partner) and Y-score (partner→BHMT) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
