Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BHLHE41 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated BHLHE41 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher BHLHE41 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BHLHE41 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and BRCA show a favorable association.
BLCA, BRCA, and DLBC are the cancer types where BHLHE41 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
