Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BHLHE23 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BHLHE23 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher BHLHE23 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BHLHE23 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SARC are the cancer types where BHLHE23 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
