Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BGLAP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BGLAP data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher BGLAP Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BGLAP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SARC are the cancer types where BGLAP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
