Across TCGA patient cohorts, BEX4 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 30 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BEX4-associated genes across cancer lineages are eIF4E, 4E-BP1, and 14-3-3_beta. Each is linked with BEX4 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BEX4-to-partner and partner-to-BEX4 results are reported.
