Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BET1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BET1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher BET1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BET1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LIHC, SKCM, and UCEC are the cancer types where BET1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
