Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BEND4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BEND4 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher BEND4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BEND4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and SCLC show a favorable association.

KIRP, PAAD, and LUSC are the cancer types where BEND4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
