Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BCL9L RNA is linked to patient survival in 30 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated BCL9L data layer compared with 6 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher BCL9L RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BCL9L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and KIRC show a favorable association.

BLCA, UCS, and PAAD are the cancer types where BCL9L RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
