Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BCL9L Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BCL9L data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher BCL9L Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BCL9L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and LUSC show a favorable association.
LGG, PRAD, and SCLC are the cancer types where BCL9L Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
