Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BCL2L12 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BCL2L12 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher BCL2L12 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BCL2L12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, SARC, and SKCM are the cancer types where BCL2L12 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
