Across TCGA patient cohorts, BCHE mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 31 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BCHE-associated genes across cancer lineages are 4E-BP1, p53, and FoxM1. Each is linked with BCHE in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BCHE-to-partner and partner-to-BCHE results are reported.
