BCAR3

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BCAR3 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated BCAR3 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher BCAR3 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BCAR3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and ESCA show a favorable association.

KIRC, LUSC, and LIHC are the cancer types where BCAR3 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
