Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BCAP31 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BCAP31 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher BCAP31 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BCAP31 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
OV, BLCA, and SKCM are the cancer types where BCAP31 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
