Across TCGA cell cohorts, BBS9 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 26 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible BBS9-associated genes across cancer lineages are DRD3, GZMA, and VSIG4. Each is linked with BBS9 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BBS9-to-partner and partner-to-BBS9 results are reported.
