Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BBS10 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BBS10 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher BBS10 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BBS10 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, LIHC, and CESC are the cancer types where BBS10 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
