Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BBIP1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BBIP1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher BBIP1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BBIP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LUAD show a favorable association.

UCEC, HNSC, and LSCC are the cancer types where BBIP1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
