Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BAZ1B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BAZ1B data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher BAZ1B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BAZ1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and STAD show a favorable association.
LUAD, UCEC, and COAD are the cancer types where BAZ1B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
