Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BAZ1A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BAZ1A data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher BAZ1A Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BAZ1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ACC, SARC, and STAD are the cancer types where BAZ1A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
