Across TCGA cell cohorts, BAK1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 2,312 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible BAK1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Negative regulation of release of cytochrome c from mitochondria, Negative regulation of mitochondrial outer membrane permeabilization involved in apoptotic signaling pathway, and Positive regulation of IRE1-mediated unfolded protein response. Each is linked with BAK1 in more than 12 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BAK1-to-partner and partner-to-BAK1 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, Negative regulation of release of cytochrome c from mitochondria grouped by BAK1-low versus BAK1-high in BONE.
