Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BAIAP2L2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BAIAP2L2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher BAIAP2L2 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BAIAP2L2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and UCEC show a favorable association.
CCRCC, UCEC, and PDAC are the cancer types where BAIAP2L2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
