Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BAGE2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BAGE2 data layer compared with 16 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher BAGE2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BAGE2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC and LUSC are the cancer types where BAGE2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
