Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BAD Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BAD data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher BAD Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BAD expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD and OV are the cancer types where BAD Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
