Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BABAM2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BABAM2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher BABAM2 Mutation is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BABAM2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and STAD show a favorable association.

LUAD, SKCM, and CESC are the cancer types where BABAM2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
