Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, B4GALT5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated B4GALT5 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), where higher B4GALT5 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated B4GALT5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and SCLC show a favorable association.

PAAD, ACC, and LIHC are the cancer types where B4GALT5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
