Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, B4GALT1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated B4GALT1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher B4GALT1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated B4GALT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SARC are the cancer types where B4GALT1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
