Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, B4GALT1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated B4GALT1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher B4GALT1-AS1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated B4GALT1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC and KIRP show a favorable association.

LUSC, UVM, and KIRP are the cancer types where B4GALT1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
