Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, B3GNTL1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated B3GNTL1 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher B3GNTL1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated B3GNTL1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and UCEC show a favorable association.
LGG, SKCM, and PRAD are the cancer types where B3GNTL1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
