Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, B3GNT6 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated B3GNT6 data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher B3GNT6 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated B3GNT6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD are the cancer types where B3GNT6 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
