Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, B3GLCT Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated B3GLCT data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher B3GLCT Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated B3GLCT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCS, UCEC, and DLBC are the cancer types where B3GLCT Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
