Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, B3GLCT mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated B3GLCT data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher B3GLCT mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated B3GLCT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and HNSC show a favorable association.

UCEC, COAD, and CCRCC are the cancer types where B3GLCT mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
