Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, B3GALT6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated B3GALT6 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher B3GALT6 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated B3GALT6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD and UCEC are the cancer types where B3GALT6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
