Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, B3GALT5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated B3GALT5 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher B3GALT5 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated B3GALT5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ACC, OV, and ESCA are the cancer types where B3GALT5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
