Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, B3GALT5-AS1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated B3GALT5-AS1 data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher B3GALT5-AS1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated B3GALT5-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

COAD and ESCA are the cancer types where B3GALT5-AS1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
