Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AVEN Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AVEN data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher AVEN Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AVEN expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LUAD, and ESCA are the cancer types where AVEN Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
