Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATXN3L RNA is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ATXN3L data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher ATXN3L RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATXN3L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.

STAD, ESCA, and UCS are the cancer types where ATXN3L RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
