Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATXN1L mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ATXN1L data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher ATXN1L mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATXN1L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and HNSC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, UCEC, and HNSC are the cancer types where ATXN1L mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
