Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATP9A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ATP9A data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher ATP9A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATP9A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
OV, UCEC, and BLCA are the cancer types where ATP9A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
