Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATP8B2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ATP8B2 data layer compared with 9 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher ATP8B2 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATP8B2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and HNSC show a favorable association.

UVM, BLCA, and LUAD are the cancer types where ATP8B2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
