Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATP7B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ATP7B data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher ATP7B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATP7B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
THYM, UCEC, and BRCA are the cancer types where ATP7B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
