Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATP6V1G1P4 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of ATP6V1G1P4’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where ATP6V1G1P4 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types ATP6V1G1P4 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KIRP and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
COAD, KIRP, and THCA are the cancer types where ATP6V1G1P4 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
