Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATP6V1C2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ATP6V1C2 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher ATP6V1C2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATP6V1C2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and HNSC show a favorable association.
KIRC, KIRP, and ACC are the cancer types where ATP6V1C2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
