Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATP6V1A RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ATP6V1A data layer compared with 8 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher ATP6V1A RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATP6V1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and HNSC show a favorable association.
KIRC, BLCA, and LIHC are the cancer types where ATP6V1A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
